Having grown up across India, China, the UK, and Canada, I’ve gained a unique understanding and deep connections with diverse cultures and languages. Especially as two of the countries I’ve lived in primarily spoke non-english languages, adapting quickly became a key skill in my arsenal. Change is something I now embrace in all forms—whether in my creative work or in the way I contribute to my community.

Additionally, as a student of the International Baccalaureate program, I’ve been able to channel my adaptability into my academic work—balancing creativity, critical thinking, and global-mindedness. The The IB program, known as one of the most rigorous in the world, has taught me the value of time management and consistent effort. While I sailed through elementary and middle school without fully applying myself, IB challenged me to embrace hard work—strengthening both my skills and my creative portfolio.

While most people in my community tend to gravitate toward either science—like medicine or technology—or to the creative—like the humanities or arts—I enjoy both! As a Physics HL and Visual Arts HL student, I've discovered the creativity in STEM and the logic in the arts. 

I enjoy mathematical and scientific concepts, particularly in computer science and programming. Learning the basics of coding has strengthened my ability to approach problems with both creativity and logic. I’ve explored many programming languages at varying levels, including Java, Python, HTML, Scratch, and scripting in Unreal Engine. I also enjoy participating in school science events and expanding my general knowledge about the world around me.

On the creative side, I absolutely adore the arts. My paintings and other works are often exhibited at school and in the community. I’ve also been heavily involved in theatre, both on stage and in set design. Dance and music are passions of mine as well—I’ve studied ballet, hip-hop, and choir for much of my life. Sports play a big role too, and I participate enthusiastically in many activities, including swimming, badminton, rugby, softball, soccer, and martial arts, among others, even earning achievements in a few of these sports. I'm never shy to pick up something new to try!
